Weekly Service Trips

Each week, Volunteer Emory offers students the opportunity to work in collaboration with a community organization to meet their goals. We provide free transportation, orientation information, diverse opportunities to serve, trips on different days of the week at different times, and reflection and debriefing after your service.

Mondays

Refugee Family Services: Volunteers will help with the after-school program, by playing with kids, helping with homework, and working on computer programs. There will also be the option to get involved in the one-to-one program, which involves tutoring one specific child for the entire semester. Volunteers will help kids stay on top of their school work, practice language skills and adjust to life in the US by just having fun in a safe and friendly environment.

Meet: Behind the Carlos Museum
